1. Opioid Grief Vigil: Friday, April 5

Remember loved ones lost to opioid overdose and other opioid victims from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, April 5 during a vigil for anyone 18 and older. The event will be held at the Gerald L. Ignace Indian Health Center, 930 W. Historic Mitchell Street. There will be food, guest speakers and more. More information here.

2. Spring Election Celebration: Friday, April 5

VIA Community Development Corporation will host a celebration for those who took the time to vote. It will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, April 5 at 3524 W. National Ave. More information here.

3. R&B Fridays After Work Set: Friday, April 5

Every Friday, Mi Casa Su Cafe invites you to come listen to live music performed by bands, DJs and vocalists. The next R&B Friday will be from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, April 5 at 1835 N. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.  Food and drink specials will be available for purchase. More information here.

4. First Group Ride: Saturday, April 6

Oak Leaf Familia is a bicycle club for Latinx individuals and immigrants. The club will hold its first ride from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 6. Participants are to meet outside of the Urban Ecology Center Menomonee Valley on West Pierce and South 37th streets. More information here.

5. Spring Cleaning Treasure Trade: Saturday, April 6

The Table invites you to bring items that you find during your home spring cleaning and trade them with others. You can bring clothes, toys and more. This “Treasure Trade” will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 6 at 5305 W. Capitol Drive. Make sure you bring a bag to store your new purchases. More information here.
