Some new studies show that up to 50% of people with COVID-19 don’t show any symptoms, so many people are wondering if they had the disease without knowing it. Fortunately, an antibody test can identify if your body has already fought off the virus. Unfortunately, scammers are cashing in on demand and creating phony tests, according to BBB Scam Tracker reports.

“With so many people strapped for cash because of the COVID-19 pandemic, some may be considering payday loans, which are short-term loans that come with exceedingly high-interest rates. Unfortunately, many payday borrowers find themselves unable to repay the principal, fees and interest at the end of the loan period so they renew the loan, incurring even more fees and interest and trapping themselves into a cycle of debt.”

Scams are a significant and growing problem for small businesses. One of the best ways that small businesses can protect themselves from scams is to stay informed about the common scams circulating and the different techniques used by scammers, and to report them.

Spring has finally arrived, and solicitors offering asphalt services, home repairs and sales of magazine subscriptions – among other products and services – will be making the rounds and may wind up on your doorstep.
