Program cultivates new crop of neighborhood leaders
The Neighborhood Leadership Institute, which was developed to help build the capacity and effectiveness of resident and nonprofit leaders, celebrated the program’s completion Thursday. Eight pairs of participants in NLI’s second cohort came from the neighborhoods of Amani, Capitol Heights, Woodlands, Harambee, Layton Boulevard West, Lindsay Heights, Thurston Woods and Washington Park.
