Marchers file down S. Cesar E. Chavez Drive in Clarke Square during the 2010 immigrant rights event

A statewide march for immigrant and worker rights will be held Sunday, May 1, in Milwaukee. Voces de la Frontera, an immigrant rights group, is providing busing to and from the event from cities across Wisconsin including Madison, Racine and Whitewater. The march will culminate in a rally at Veteran’s Park where AFL-CIO national president Richard Trumka and Christine Neuman-Ortiz, director of Voces de la Frontera, will speak.

1:30 p.m. Assemble at Voces de la Frontera (S. 5th Street and Washington in Milwaukee)
2:00 p.m March to Veteran’s Park
3:00 p.m Rally at Veteran’s Park
