Thousands of people, including a large contingent from Clarke Square, marched in support of immigration rights and against Gov. Scott Walker’s budget cuts May 1. The march and rally at Veterans Park, sponsored by immigration rights group Voces de la Frontera, has been held annually in Milwaukee since 2006.
