The Clarke Square Neighborhood Initiative is sponsoring a free seminar and workshops on weatherization for renters and homeowners from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8 at Clarke Square Park, 2330 W. Vieau Place.

Topics include window insulation and other energy-saving tips. Those who complete the workshops will receive weatherization kits and have the opportunity to apply for energy assistance. The organization also will announce the three winners in the Clarke Square Curb Appeal contest.
