‘Quality of life’ plan to be unveiled in Layton Blvd. West

Layton Boulevard West Neighbors will unveil the area’s “quality of life” plan at the group’s annual gathering, set for 5:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3 at the St. Joseph Center, 1501 S. Layton Blvd.

The plan, nine months in the making, has involved more than 250 neighbors and partners and will set the stage for the next few years of of action in the neighborhood. The unveiling is to begin at 6:30 p.m.

Before that, there will be a “Taste of the Neighborhood” in the St. Joseph Center Cafeteria.  Attendees will be able to sample foods from neighborhood restaurants. Winners of the “Most Improved Porch Contest” and “I Love My Neighborhood Poster Contest” also will be announced during the evening.
