Since 2003, Debbie Pagel of Eat Cake! has been crafting sculpted cakes that range from the artistic to the absurd, including robots, musical instruments, houses, apes, elegant wedding cakes, and of course, shoes.  To see the shop’s creations, stop by on a Friday (it would be a good idea to make arrangements with Debbie first) or check out the website.

Nestled between Miller Brewing Company, Harley Davidson Motor Company, and Washington Park, Martin Drive is a small residential community on the west side of Milwaukee. With an active community association, there always seems to be something going on in Martin Drive. The neighborhood has a detailed Wikipedia site.
