Washington Park market opens for the season

Opening day at the Washington Park Senior Center featured entertainment, a flea market and the opportunity for children to decorate their own reusable shopping bag, in addition to flowers, produce and prepared food.

The market will be open through Oct. 14 at the senior center, 4420 W. Vliet.
