Thanks to a generous grant from Kohl’s Cares in support of the Kohl’s Building Blocks Program, Penfield has officially launched PenfieldBuildingBlocks.org, an online tool that provides helpful how-to articles, tips and videos for families. Tapping into the expertise of family counselors, healthcare providers and educational professionals, PenfieldBuildingBlocks.org is a valuable online resource that allows Penfield to serve families far beyond it’s agency walls.

As a leader in child development, Penfield has the experts in house to provide professional advice on a variety of topics – from healthy meal ideas to how to deal with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Featuring subjects like “Nutrition,” “Positive Parenting” and “Home and Family,” PenfieldBuildingBlocks.org provides interesting and current articles in a convenient easy to navigate website.

Stop by the site and read articles like: Promoting Cognitive Development Through Play, written by Beth Vick, Director of Special Education at Penfield.
