Priscilla Penfield Chester, daughter of world-renowned neurosurgeon Dr. Wilder Penfield and founding member of Milwaukee’s Penfield Children’s Center, died on February 19. Penfield helps infants and young children, with and without disabilities, reach their full potential through education, therapy services and family programs.
“Priscilla was a tremendous advocate for children with special needs,” said Christine Holmes, President and CEO of Penfield Children’s Center. “Her vision as a founding member of Penfield Children’s Center, to provide holistic early education and care to children in their formative years, has had a profound impact in the lives of thousands of children in Milwaukee County.”
