United Neighborhood Centers of Milwaukee (UNCOM) held its 8th annual Walk for Wellness at the Journey House Green Bay Packers Football Stadium in Mitchell Park on Friday. About 400 participants, all affiliated with UNCOM member agencies, gathered at the event, which is intended to encourage healthier living. Activities included urban line dancing and a mile-long walk through Mitchell Park, followed by a meal of a sandwich, carrots, apples and chips.

UNCOM member organizations are Agape Community Center, COA Youth and Family Centers, Journey House, Milwaukee Christian Center, Neighborhood House of Milwaukee, Next Door, Northcott Neighborhood House, and Silver Spring Neighborhood Center.
