Bonnie Drew grew up in a small, up-north Wisconsin town but left for Washington, D.C., when she was 17. She came back to Wisconsin and settled in Milwaukee. She and her husband had plans to explore the world, but he died suddenly almost 20 years ago and, instead, Drew has done much of what they planned — she’s taken a couple trips to Ireland, gone on cruises and more — on her own.
