The Community Prosecution Unit (CPU) Coordinator positions work as liaisons between residents, the Milwaukee Police Department (MPD), the District Attorney’s office and other government entities. In addition to planning and coordinating public safety/nuisance abatement process events and resources, the CPU Coordinator’s chief responsibility is to assist with information gathering, organization and reporting leading to the abatement of CPU reported nuisances.  

The Near West Side (NWS) position specifically focuses on the community located on Milwaukee’s near west side neighborhoods and is part of the Near West Side Partners collaboration.

The Drug Free Communities (DFC) Organizer focuses on engaging youth in positive activities and healthy decision making around drugs and alcohol.  The organizer operates in the community located within 53208 zip code boundaries, and provides project based opportunities for creativity and leadership development.
