Alderman Russell W. Stamper, II is inviting Milwaukee children and teens to attend the Pepp Nation Sports Leadership Camp’s Community Play Day at Moody Park (N. 22nd and W. Burleigh Streets) on Friday, August 19.

The FREE camp will begin with a breakfast at 8 a.m. Friday, and will include sessions on non-traditional sports, including lacrosse and rugby, Alderman Stamper said. “Brendan Culpepper founded Pepp Nation and has developed excellent leadership camps, serving more than 1,500 youth in Milwaukee and across the U.S. since 2012,” he said. “I encourage interested youth to take advantage of this opportunity to learn more about rugby or lacrosse, and to be exposed to important positive messages about teamwork and leadership.”

The family-friendly event, sponsored by the Children’s Outing Association and the Dominican Center, will conclude with entertainment provided by Ray Nitti.

For more information, please contact Pepp Nation Sports Leadership Camps at 414-698-6843 or 414-444-2207.
