Dog days getting you down? Break out of the hot summer routine and help others in your neighborhood or community. Volunteer Milwaukee, a service of the Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee features a calendar full of events for volunteers, both one-time and ongoing.

Join Team Milwaukee!

Greet visitors and answer questions at the airport, prepare packets and convention bags and provide directional assistance at events for VISIT Milwaukee; weekdays, weekends and occasional evenings.

ASL Interpreter

Provide ASL interpretation for deaf and hard-of-hearing program participants and clients at Milwaukee LGBT Community Center meetings, events, and counseling and advocacy services; must have ASL education, training and experience.

Serve Lunch to Seniors

Sign in seniors, serve meals, assist with serving trays or clean-up weekdays at the Interfaith Clinton Rose Senior Center; must be 55 or older.

414All Condom Packing Party

Diverse & Resilient needs groups to assemble kits that include condoms, lubricants, and information about safe sex and STI testing as part of the 414ALL Condom Campaign citywide effort.

Free Meal Program Block Party

Set up, register guests, serve food, distribute clothes or assist in children’s area for St. Vincent de Paul Society of Milwaukee; Thursday, Aug. 10 at north side location, noon-8 p.m.

Greenwish Village at Irish Fest

Help Keep Greater Milwaukee Beautiful bring environmental education to Irish Fest attendees; help with setup, arts & crafts or games Aug. 18-20, 3- to 4-hour shifts. Sign up here.
