The Milwaukee Public Library Mitchell Street Branch featured a night of wrestling featuring Milwaukee-based wrestling group Mondo Lucha.
“Crush the Shush” is part of MPL’s Library Loud Days series, which offers free events to showcase the library as more than a place to read quietly and check out books, but one where people can connect and converse.
Organizers gave away free t-shirts, and attendees could decorate their own masks and pose in front of a Mondo Lucha-themed backdrop. Wrestlers stayed after the matches to sign posters, masks, and t-shirts for their fans.
