Over 200 positions are available with MCFI, a tenant at Walnut Way’s Innovations and Wellness Commons (IWC) and other city wide locations.

MCFI Offers Meaningful Employment

MCFI is a Milwaukee-based nonprofit that offers life-changing programs and services for children and adults with disabilities, special needs, and barriers to success. The MCFI Hospitality Academy, which is leasing space for a commercial kitchen in Walnut Way’s Innovations and Wellness Commons, provides on-the-job training for individuals interested in working in the hospitality industry. MCFI uses the commercial kitchen to prepare fresh, healthy meals for its contract clients – child care centers and schools that serve mainly low-income families. The kitchen provides jobs and paid training opportunities to local residents and offer job opportunities in other MCFI facilities.

In addition to MCFI’s location at Walnut Way’s Innovations and Wellness Commons, MCFI has several additional locations across Milwaukee. Learn more about MCFI.
