Alderman Russell W. Stamper, II encourages 15th District residents and other interested individuals to attend the Social Development Commission’s job fairs on Monday, April 16 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Tuesday, April 24 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Both job fairs will be held at the Social Development Commission’s building at 1730 W. North Ave.

On April 16, the Milwaukee Center for Independence will co-host the job fair to fill open positions for certified nursing assistants, nurses, community-based residential facilities employees, custodians, drivers, and food servers and kitchen staff. The April 24 job fair will focus on open positions in the carpentry, concrete finishing, electrical, landscaping, painting, plumbing, and roofing industries. All candidates, regardless of age or experience level, are encouraged to apply. Attendees should dress professionally and bring a current resumé to share with company representatives.

“Job fairs are a valuable resource for our community, and I encourage all city residents to explore their career opportunities at these job fairs,” said Alderman Stamper. “I would also like to extend my appreciation to the Social Development Commission for being an outstanding community partner and for bringing two job fairs to the 15th District this month.”

For more information on the job fairs, please visit www.cr-sdc.org or contact Tyrone McKee at tmckee@cr-sdc.org or (414) 907-2700.
