Jeremiah Silas, 17, is feeling the pain of losing his friend Dennis King, known to family and friends as Boo Man. On May 19 or 20, King, 15, was brutally murdered in the Borchert Field neighborhood, where both boys grew up.

Silas and King participated in Andre Lee Elllis’ “We Got This” youth employment and mentoring program and Silas is turning to Ellis, who he calls “Pops,” for consolation and guidance in dealing with his grief.

Please if the hat is sign of gang membership leave the gang. If the hat is not know that wearing the hat as shown in the picture is a sign of gang membership. Yes grieve the loss of your friend and cry for his loss and what you will not share together. Do not go down the other road of vengeance and hate against those who killed your friend BECAUSE you will become those who killed your friend and then NO one will be left in years to come to remember your friend as you do. Instead take the ROAD of forgiveness not an easy road bu the road out of hate and despair. Peace Tom
