Arlene McLaurin was at Rise & Grind in Harambee, preparing for a job interview and intermittently dancing in celebration of her good health. McLaurin prides herself on her family’s legacy of higher education; she holds three bachelor’s degrees and a master’s degree in Education and Leadership Policy. Each of her two children attend one of her alma maters: North Division High School and Marquette University.
