Milwaukee native Shaquita Spencer looked like she was relaxing in Clarke Square park Monday evening, sitting in a lawn chair as her two kids played. However, she was actually reviewing newspaper delivery routes, a job that Spencer said consumes 365 days a year.
Spencer has another job as a certified nursing assistant, and she hopes to quit the newspaper gig after earning her registered nurse degree. She said her largest motivation is giving her two sons a better life.
