Lonnie Brown, a 15-year-old Silver City resident (pictured on the left), and soon-to-be-19 Deavon Haynes of Lindsay Heights met earlier this summer at Express Yourself Milwaukee.
As youth arts interns they are earning stipends, building skills and making new friends.
This fall, Brown, a rising sophomore, will enter Milwaukee High School of the Arts’ theater program. Haynes will transfer from Vincent to Bay View High School, where he will be a senior.
