South Sider CC Ryder uses his bike, a wagon, an occasional ride or a city dumpster to transport scrap metal to Mill Valley Recycling, 1006 S. Barclay St. He said the items he seeks out the most are air conditioners and aluminum-rimmed car tires.

Edgar is a senior staff reporter for the Milwaukee Neighborhood News Service. Mendez is a proud graduate of UW-Milwaukee, where he double majored in Journalism and Sociology, and of Marquette University, where he earned a master’s degree in Communication.
