“Through Our Eyes: The Hate U Give Exhibition”

October 12th 5:00 – 8:00 PM

A@L hosts an artist talk back showcasing artwork done by students at Milwaukee High School of the Arts.

FREE event open to all!

Inspired by the upcoming film based on author, AngieThomas’ award-winning Teen novel, “The Hate U Give”, the exhibit features original works created by local Milwaukee teens.

THE HATE U GIVE is based on the critically acclaimed New York Times bestseller by Angie Thomas and stars Amandla Stenberg as Starr, with Regina Hall, Russell Hornsby, Issa Rae, KJ Apa, Algee Smith, Sabrina Carpenter, Common, and Anthony Mackie.
