Just Announced: Several roles with City of Milwaukee DPW

The City of Milwaukee is now accepting applications for three exciting roles within the Department of Public Works- Operations!


OPERATIONS DRIVER/ WORKER-

Purpose: The Operations Driver Workers provide professional driving and critical manual laboring functions, including municipal solid waste and recycling collection, street sweeping, snow and ice control, and operation of heavy equipment for the Department of Public Works.

Salary: The starting salary for City of Milwaukee residents is $40,643 annually.

Deadline: January 28, 2019- the position will also be recruited continuously throughout 2019


City Laborer

Purpose: Under supervision, City Laborers perform light to heavy manual work. City Laborers are employed by the Department of Public Works (DPW) in the following areas: Streets, Sewers, Electrical Services, Sanitation, Water, and Forestry; assignment to an area is based on the needs of the City.

Salary: The starting salary for City of Milwaukee residents is 1,208 per biweekly pay period

Tire Repair Worker I

Purpose: The Tire Repair Worker I is responsible for inspecting, repairing, and replacing tires, tire tubes and rims on all City of Milwaukee fleet and construction vehicles.

Salary: The starting salary for City of Milwaukee residents is $38,350 annually.
