NNS reporter Ana Martinez-Ortiz recently sat down with Dennis Walton and Saryea Murchison, hosts of WGLB 1560AM’s Morning Mix to talk about her story on a new youth center at 2110 W. Hampton Ave. Ma’ruf, a Muslim nonprofit organization, founded the center, which opened in December.
During the conversation, Walton and Murchison remarked that they’re looking forward to having a place where the neighborhood’s children can go after school to receiving tutoring, mentorship and more.
The Morning Mix airs Mondays and Fridays starting at 8 a.m.
