When Leonard Glover brought his two children to the Martin Luther King Library, he didn’t know that it was the fifth-annual Black History Month Read-in. After a little convincing, they all decided to stay. He said he thinks it is important for his kids to see Black role models from the community, such as Ald. Milele Coggs and Rep. Kalan Haywood, who read African-American poems and stories.
