Habitat for Humanity launches historic Midtown housing initiative

As part of its Midtown 100 initiative, Habitat for Humanity plans to build 25 homes this year. Officials said the project will create the highest concentration of affordable, single-family homes built in Milwaukee since World War II. A “wall-raising” took place Thursday to officially launch year two of the effort.

    OMG! 25 houses is the largest concentration of affordable housing in Milwaukee since WWII????? That’s shocking! Kudos to Habitat, but what is going on in Milwaukee????
