Andrea Rodriguez proudly announces her candidacy for Milwaukee County Supervisor for District 4. Rodriguez is a lifelong Milwaukeean, educator, and community organizer. She was raised on the northside of Milwaukee and has called the southside her home the last fifteen years.

She has served many roles over the years, including being a mentor to youth groups, volunteer for several community groups, and an appointed commissioner of the City of Milwaukee’s Safety and Civic Commission. Rodriguez is a well known progressive, Latinx woman with a commitment to getting Milwaukee economically competitive on a global level and using her science education background to lead Milwaukee County toward an environmentally responsible future.

Andrea Rodriguez is also a first generation American with goals of uniting Milwaukee County and is determined in empowering all residents, especially after Milwaukee County has finally announced racism as a public health crisis. She is a strong supporter of Supervisor Marina Dimitrijevic’s outstanding work in District 4 and looks to continue that legacy while empowering residents on community level as a representative of Milwaukee County.

She believes everyone deserves a safer county and will work hard to improve our county parks and community centers. She wants to improve our mass transit system, insuring that all residents have access all parts of our county in an efficient, safe way. She will work tirelessly with our sheriff department in order to improve its procedures as they protect and serve residents. She will also work hard to unite the voices of residents and county employees to make sure we improve our health services for families and seniors.

Rodriguez currently serves on the Garden District Neighborhood Association Board, where she lived for thirteen years and is currently serving residents of Polonia, while very active in the Crisol Neighborhood after recently moving to the area.

Join us for our 24-hour giving challenge with Give Marquette Day!

Rodriguez is well known for her grassroots organizing and as a educator, is very skilled at creating great change with little resources. She will be announcing a fundraiser very soon that will also empower local youth in service-learning as she is committed to mentoring the next generation of leaders in Milwaukee County. ¡Si se puede!
