A theatrical performance starring local young female actors depicting the young lives of pioneering women, with three performance dates: August 23rd, 24th, 25th

Gabriella Mancuso, who will turn 9 years old on October 9, created MEDUSA JR for John Ridley’s Nō Studios. MEDUSA JR is a theatrical performance celebrating the lives of pioneering women. 6 original monologues, written, produced and directed by local women, will be performed by a diverse cast of local talented young actresses (ages 8-14). Our goal at MEDUSA JR is to empower them, support them, and show them that EVERYTHING is possible!

With this show, the audience will be brought back in time, to ‘meet’ these pioneering women as if they were young girls today. The audience will witness how, even at a young age, these young girls were already strong and determined to change the world! We also aim to inspire others to fight for what they believe in!

Apart from the performance, MEDUSA JR functioned as a great 8-week acting program, FREE of cost to the families of these talented young girls. Here is video of Gabriella Mancuso talking about MEDUSA JR in an interview with Beth Ridley at No Studios:
