Saturday, February 22
5:30-8:30pm

Grab your stocking caps and your crew and head out to cure your cabin fever at one of Milwaukee’s favorite winter adventures – the Urban Candlelight Hike!

Hiking on two miles of the candlelit Hank Aaron State Trail, roaring campfires, marshmallow roasting at the FOHAST Fireside Plaza, REI Snowshoe Demos and Winter Camp Lounge Selfie Station, fat tire bike demos with Wheel & Sprocket, tea tasting at Velobahn Coffee & Cycle, hot chocolate pastries at the Urban Ecology Center, local door prizes, and a magical winter walk await!

Entrance is free to all. You can have even more fun and help support this event by purchasing an individual ($10) or family ($20) “Fun Pass” for awesome extras, including marshmallow roasting and s’mores, hot chocolate, door prizes, BOGO beer/rootbeer at Third Space Brewing, and a BOGO entree at Orenda Cafe. Be one of the first 200 to purchase a Fun Pass and you’ll get a FREE REI water bottle too!

Volunteers are an important part of this magical winter event. Volunteer here and get a Fun Pass for your good deed.

This event is co-hosted by the Friends of Hank Aaron State Trail and Urban Ecology Center.

For more information and to save time by purchasing your Fun Pass in advance, visit UrbanCandlelightHike.com.
