Editor’s note: At Milwaukee Neighborhood News Service, we intentionally celebrate ordinary people who do extraordinary things. We are especially interested in our neighbors who are making a difference as we all deal with the effects of COVID-19. Please let us know by emailing us at info@milwaukeenns.org.

The Milwaukee Area Technical College on Friday donated fresh produce from its culinary arts program and food service to the Hunger Task Force.

The donation included vegetables, fruit, dairy products, bleach and gloves.

More than 212 pounds of potatoes, 37 cartons of eggs, 35 pounds of carrots and 37 pounds of onions were given away, MATC officials say.
