The Love Your Block Milwaukee program provides opportunities for community members and organizations to engage residents in revitalizing their neighborhood through mini-grant-funded block projects on city-owned lots. The Love Your Block (LYB) program is supported by the City of Milwaukee and Cities of Service, an international nonprofit.
As of April 1st, Love Your Block MKE will fund projects located up to five blocks away from the City’s Targeted Investment Neighborhoods (TINs). The new Love Your Block boundaries can be found here. The extended application deadline for Love Your Block’s mini-grant is May 1st. Click here to apply!
Example projects include pocket parks, gardens, art installations, information boards, and neighborhood cleanups. However, we are open to other ideas residents may want in their community!
