The Matilda Ward Youth Empowerment Association Board of Directors are proud to announce the organization has received $750 in funding through the Community Connections Small Grants Program. The funds are provided by the Greater Milwaukee Foundation, Zilber Family Foundation, and Northwestern Mutual Foundation and will be used to support the “Supper in the Park” project at Butterfly Park, 3717 W. Meinecke, Milwaukee, WI 53210, on Friday, July 17, from 3:00-6:00pm.
Arthur Ward, executive director of non-profit Matilda Ward Youth Empowerment Association, with board members and volunteers, has been providing free meals in Butterfly Park to residents of Metcalfe Park Neighborhood for more than 10 years.
