Milwaukee Neighborhood News Service recently collaborated with Historic Milwaukee on “Neighborhood Gems: Behind the Scenes” for the annual Doors Open program.

The free digital event featured five-minute “lightning round” presentations from seven community projects: Visual Vibes on Villard, Artists Working in Education’s Silver City Artist-in-Residency with Sarah Gail Luther, Peace Gardens MKE, the murals on West Forest Home Avenue, Triciclo Péru, Pulaski Park and Neighborhood Tiles in Clarke Square.
