The Greater Milwaukee Foundation, and its Thriving Communities Advisory Council serving Sherman Park East and North Division, will be hosting a series of informational sessions for community nonprofit organizations to hear more about grants to support youth. If you are an organization serving youth in the Sherman Park East or North Division neighborhoods, come hear from the Thriving Communities advisory council members about the funding priorities, application process and some helpful tips when applying.

Register here for one or more sessions, and a virtual meeting link will be sent to you.

  • Session 1: Wednesday, May 12, 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.
  • Session 2: Monday, May 17, 4 – 5 p.m.
  • Session 3: Wednesday, May 19, 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.
  • Session 4: Tuesday, May 25, 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.

The Foundation’s Thriving Communities initiative is designed to catalyze community-driven change in neighborhoods that historically have faced barriers to revitalization. The program elevates the voices and priorities of residents so their vision for the future of their neighborhood becomes a roadmap for a thriving community.
