PEARLS For Teen Girls is offering free, virtual summer programming from June 21st to July 29th to girls who will be entering 5th grade through 12th grade. Throughout the six weeks, girls will meet virtually once a week Monday-Friday from 2-3pm with their age group. Girls will also have the option to participate in four different clubs that give girls access to an additional four hours of programming: book club, arts and crafts club, cooking club, and beauty & wellness club.

The latter three will occur Monday, Wednesday, Thursday respectively from 3:30-4:30 pm while Book club will be held on Friday from 2-3pm. Book club was created through a collaboration with the Milwaukee Public Library, in which Librarians will share passages from their favorite YA books, audiobooks and graphic novels before engaging in casual discussion on favorites. In addition, programming staff will encourage girls to participate in four different Summer Challenges to inspire girls to get outdoors, visit parks, read books, perform acts of kindness, and create their own challenges.

PEARLS For Teen Girls is committed to uplifting anyone who identifies as a girl with empowering programming that focuses on self-care, social emotional wellness and goal setting. PEARLS believes in the inherit value and worthiness of ALL girls and aims to instill that belief in PEARLS girls. If you or someone you know is interested in this free virtual programming, visit www.pearlsforteengirls.com/summer for more information and to sign up.
