VIA CDC and Presenting Event Sponsor Komatsu Mining Corp. Group invite you to the 10th Annual Silver City InterNational Festival on Saturday, September 11th from 12:00pm – 5:00pm. Join us in celebrating the Cultural Diversity of Silver City. This is a free event that brings Milwaukee residents together to celebrate the cultural diversity of the Silver City neighborhood through food, arts, and music!
This year’s festival will be held at Arlington Heights Park located on 3429 W Pierce St. Milwaukee, WI. The festival will include live music performances, a variety of ethnic food vendors, children’s and art activities, and a community “passport” activity guide. Complete the passport activity to enter to win the following prizes: Urban Ecology Center membership, Summerfest tickets or Brewer Game tickets.
Highlights include musical and dance performances from Donna Re’nee, Javier Escamilla y Espectáculo Charro, Rising Dragon Martial Arts Demonstration, Salsabrositas Dance Company, Filipino Tinikling Dance, and Traditional + Modern Hmong Dance.
