The City of Milwaukee Board of Fire and Police Commissioners is in the process of considering Acting Chief Jeffrey Norman for the position of Chief of Police of the Milwaukee Police Department. The final step in the selection process will be for the Board to vote on whether to appoint Acting Chief Norman as the next permanent Chief of the Milwaukee Police Department. The vote is scheduled to take place at the Board’s next regular meeting on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at 5:30 p.m.

The Board of Fire and Police Commissioners welcomes public comments at the beginning of this meeting. All FPC meeting notices are available on the City of Milwaukee Legistar System.

This will be a virtual meeting that will be conducted via Microsoft Teams. Those who wish to view the proceedings can do so at http://city.milwaukee.gov/citychannel and use Live Stream 1. Those who wish to join the meeting for public comment can do so at: https://bit.ly/31YQeiP.



Residents who are unable to attend this meeting may submit comments to the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners by emailing them to fpc@milwaukee.gov.
