NNS’ Sam Woods joined WUWM 89.7-FM, Milwaukee’s NPR and Joy Powers of “Lake Effect” for the August  installment of our monthly “5 Things” feature.

This month includes a Wild Child Film Festival at Havenwoods; the citywide Black Theater Festival; cultural festivals, including Black Arts Fest, Puerto Rican Family Festival and Mexican Fiesta; a historical tour of Washington Park with Virginia Small, and the HaRUNbee 5K Walk/Run.
