NNS reporter Sam Woods joined WUWM 89.7-FM, Milwaukee’s NPR and Joy Powers of “Lake Effect” for the February installment of our monthly “5 Things” feature.

This month includes things to do for Black History Month; “HOOPS,” a gallery exhibition and live play adaptation about the cultural significance of hoop earrings; gallery night at Sixteenth Street Health Centers; a Milwaukee Public Schools candidate forum; and “Phobruary.”
