2. “The Scale of Hope”: free movie screening: Wednesday, May 10

3. Reflections on “Native America: In Translation”: Thursday, May 11

Hear a series of 10-minute reflections from multiple perspectives on the Milwaukee Art Museum’s exhibition “Native America: In Translation.” This event runs from 6:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. on Thursday, May 11 at Milwaukee Art Museum, located at 700 N. Art Museum Drive. More information on the event here.

4. Reimagining WIS-175 discussion: Thursday, May 11

WIS-175, or the Stadium Freeway, is a freeway spur that extends from I-94 to Lisbon Avenue. There are currently discussions on if, and how, to change or possibly replace this freeway because it is “a disconnect between neighborhoods with a lack of pedestrian, bike, and bus access.” You can share thoughts on how to change or replace this freeway at a community meeting from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 11 at the Washington Park Senior Center, located at 4420 W. Vliet St. More information here.

5. Free morning breathwork workshop: Friday, May 12

SKY Schools Milwaukee is hosting a free workshop on breathwork designed to help calm nerves, reduce stress and improve everyday wellbeing. The workshop takes place from 8:45 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. followed by an optional 30-minute network session on Friday, May 12 at Nō Studios, located at 1037 W. McKinley Ave. More information here.
