1. Tech or Treat: Monday, Oct. 30
Unleash your inner ghoul with Social X MKE as it closes out Wisconsin Tech Month. Social X MKE will host a Halloween-themed party from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 30 at No Studios, 1037 W. McKinley Ave. More information here.
2. Free Haircuts for Kids: Tuesday, Oct. 31
Barbershop Books offers free haircuts to kids ages 1 to 8 every Tuesday through a partnership with MKE 4 Kids. Kids can explore books with their parents during their appointments. 3. Learn Urban Line Dance: Tuesday, Oct. 31
Regardless of your dancing ability, you can still learn urban line dancing for $7 with Desiree “Butterfly” Morton. Individuals 21 and up can attend a session from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesdays at Garfield 502, 502 W. Garfield Ave. The next class is Tuesday, Oct. 31. More information here.
4. Your Fair Housing Rights and Protection: Wednesday, Nov. 1
The Dominican Center partners with Safe and Sound Inc. to ensure residents are receiving fair housing treatment. The two organizations will host a presentation by the Metropolitan Milwaukee Fair Housing Council from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 1 at 2470 W. Locust St. More information here.
5 . Kid’s Club: Wednesday, Nov. 1
If your child is from the ages of 6 and 12, take them to the Milwaukee Public Library Zablocki Branch, 3501 W. Oklahoma Ave., from 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 1 for fall craft activities with Kid’s Club. More information here.
