1. Milwaukee Christian Center Youth Paint and Sip: Wednesday, Nov. 8
Come to the youth paint and sip night from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 8 at Kosciuszko Community Center, 2201 S. 7th St. Milwaukee Christian Center’s Youth Program will provide resources, supplies, food, and non-alcoholic drinks. More information here.
2. Food Pantry: Wednesday, Nov.8
Residents in need of food are welcome to visit the WestCare Wisconsin E.A.T.S. Food Pantry starting at noon on Wednesday, Nov. 8 at 335 W. Wright St. in the Harambee neighborhood. There are no ZIP code restrictions, and no ID is required. Individuals are welcome to come every week if they would like. More information here.
3. Free Art Therapy: Wednesday, Nov. 8
Experience a free art therapy wellness series that can help improve your mental health from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Nov. 8 at the Milwaukee Art Therapy Collective, 9224 W. Burleigh St. Moms Mental Health Initiative is a co-sponsor along with the Milwaukee Art Therapy Collective. More information here.

From 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 9, Healthy Start families and community members are invited to come out and discuss ways to improve the lives of children. The event will be held at Employ Milwaukee, 2342 N. 27th St., Room 18. Whether you plan to attend virtually or in person, registration is required. More information here.
5. Coffee with Judge Molly Gena: Thursday, Nov. 9
Enjoy coffee, games and conversation with Judge Molly Gena at Escuela Verde’s Newline Community Cafe, 3618 W. Pierce St., from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 9. Gena was elected in the April spring election to Branch 2 of the Municipal Court. From 2007 until her election, she worked as an attorney for Legal Action of Wisconsin, a nonprofit civil legal aid law firm. More information here.
