On Dec. 14, HACM staff spent the day giving out gifts chosen from the wish lists.

The Housing Authority, which partnered with the nonprofit Santa for a Day, gave more than 400 children Christmas gifts. It allowed anyone to be “Santa for a Day” by collecting wish lists from children. Donors then bought gifts based on each child’s letter.
