1. Teen Open Mic: Friday, Jan. 26

Grace Weber’s Music Lab will have a teen open mic from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 26 at Radio Milwaukee Studios, 220 E. Pittsburgh Ave. Interested teens will be able to showcase their talents by singing, rapping and more. 2. Near West Side Winter Social: Friday, Jan. 26

Denizen MKE is a new business in the Near West Side neighborhood that serves as an event venue. Residents from the neighborhood will gather from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 26 at 4227 W. 3. Family Movie Night: Friday, Jan. 26

Iglesia Nueva Vida Universal will host a movie night for family and friends from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 26 at 2064 S. 14th St. Tickets are $5 and will include popcorn and soda. More information here.

4. Canvas of Calmness Circle: Saturday, Jan. 27

Mystic Phoenix Art Studio invites you to enjoy a morning of art and meditation from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27 at 5305 W. Capitol Drive. All materials will be provided and regardless of your art skills, everyone is welcome. More information here.  

5. Entrepreneurship Summit: Saturday, Jan. 27

Business owners are invited to the 12th annual MKE Business Now Entrepreneurship Summit from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27 at Martin Luther King Jr. School, 3275 N. Third St. There will be workshops, vendors and more to ensure that you have what you need to help your business flourish. More information here.
