
Washington Heights, Amani, Martin Drive and Sherman Park neighborhoods will host forums for Milwaukee Common Council candidates in Districts 6, 7, and 10 this month.
All Common Council seats will be on the April 2 general election ballot, although not all are being contested.
Here’s a list of upcoming candidate forums:
Aldermanic District 10 Candidates’ Town Hall: Wednesday, March 13
The Washington Heights Neighborhood Association is hosting a town hall for Richard Geldon and Sharlen Moore, District 10 candidates for Common Council, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13 at St. Sebastian Parish Church Hall, 5400 W. Washington Blvd.
Voter Education and Candidates’ Forum: Wednesday, March 13
The Corridor Neighborhoods Collaborative will hold a forum with candidates running for city comptroller, Milwaukee County comptroller, Circuit Court judge and District 6 alderperson at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13 at COA Goldin Center, 2320 W. Burleigh St.
Rochelle Johnson-Bent and state Rep. Marisabel Cabrera, judicial candidates for Milwaukee County Circuit Court – Branch 43; Milwaukee city comptroller candidates Bill Christianson and Gregory Gracz; Milwaukee County comptroller candidate Michael Harper; and District 6 aldermanic candidate Brandon Payton, who is running against incumbent Ald. Milele Coggs, will be in attendance.

District 7 Candidates’ Forum: Saturday, March 16
Candidates Jessica Currie and DiAndre Jackson will discuss the issues at a District 7 forum hosted by the Sherman Park Community Association and the NAACP Milwaukee Branch from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 16, at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church, 3456 N. 38th St.
District 10 Candidates’ Forum: Saturday, March 23
Martin Drive Neighborhood Association will hold a forum with Geldon and Moore from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 23, at Washington Park Media Center, 4303 W. Vliet St.
