1. Summer Game Night ’80s Theme: Friday, July 26

2.Beyond the Mic’ with Sherwin Hughes: Friday, July 26

Come listen to a “Beyond the Mic” segment hosted by Sherwin Hughes, radio host on 101.7 The Truth. The segment will air at 4 p.m. on Friday, July 26 at 1022 S. First St. You will enjoy Caribbean food, beverages and connect with other staff from The Truth. All attendees will receive a free Wisconsin State Fair ticket. More information here. 

3.Queer Roots Space’: Friday, July 26 

The Hmong American Women’s Association invites Hmong LGBTQ+ adults to “Queer Roots Space,” where they can connect, share stories and build a queer siblinghood. The event will take place from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, July 26 at 3030 W. Highland Blvd. Food will be provided. Click here to register.  More information here. 

4. Sherman Park Grocery 2nd Anniversary Celebration: Saturday, July 27 

Sherman Park Grocery Store will celebrate its second anniversary from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 27 at 4315 W. Fond du Lac Ave. To show appreciation to customers, there will be food, a grocery giveback, a fitness class and more. Earl Stokes, radio personality on WJMR Jammin’ 98.3 FM, will also be present. 5.Car Wash Car Show’: Sunday, July 28 

Your Move MKE Inc. will hold its fourth annual “Car Wash Car Show” fundraising event from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 28 at 731 W. Historic Mitchell St. The day will be filled with a variety of cars to check out, food, live music and vendors. More information here.
