NNS is joining forces with Capital B, the Black-led, local and national nonprofit news organization reporting for Black communities, and our friends over at Radio Milwaukee.

The free event will take place at Nō Studios, 1037 W. McKinley Ave.

We will discuss the alarming statistics surrounding violence against Black women in Wisconsin.

In addition, a panel of experts will also explore the efforts to establish a Missing and Murdered African American Women and Girls Task Force and learn how residents can advocate for systemic change.

This panel will delve into the impact of violence on Black communities, the role of advocacy in protection efforts and the importance of collective action leading up to the 2024 election.
